Doh Tak Keh

Bridged between imaginative street style and exclusivity, Doh Tak Keh is high fashion, high-concept and unusual.

DTK as a brand focuses on indulging in value creating products which are genderless, eccentric and out of the box. Each piece of clothing designed intends to be a statement in the wearer’s wardrobe. The brand highlights Indian craftsmanship in a way that the outcome is “cool” & versatile.

Upcycling and deconstructing silhouettes is the forte of the brand. Inspired by the “BTS” of fashion i.e. the skilled artisans, their homes, factories, villages, clothing etc. behind each garment there are fun facts and stories. DTK conveys their journey in fashion through their garments.

DTK aims to address the issue of complete transparency in the fashion supply chain through their unique language of communication. The brand communicates the stories of the artisans and their contribution in an informal format with the customers. They strongly believe that it is the collective effort & talent of each of these different “artistic” hands that contribute to the final product.

The brand directly collaborates with artisan clusters in West Bengal, Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Kerala to source beautiful handwoven cotton which is unique to each Indian state. Additionally, they use biodegradable Lenzin Tencel Lyocell sourced from a supplier in Mumbai but produced in Austria. All the fabrics used are eco-friendly and play a major part in their ethos of sustainability.
Their business model revolves around pre-order and customisation which allows them to avoid holding headstock and in turn reduce textile waste. Whatever little waste is generated, is then up cycled into their own collection making it circular.

Doh Tak Keh at its very foundation is about sharing Indian crafts to the world through edgy and eccentric garments while serving to maintain a transparent supply chain and letting the customers know who made their clothes and how they are made in order to help them make informed choices. This highly resonates with the ethos of Esoraa and makes us proud to present a brand like DTK to our customers. You can shop their collection below.
