In India, a pattern starts with a block of carved wood, a tray of ink and a steady hand. Over four hours at our table in Mitte, that pattern becomes a lampshade.
The Lampshade Edition is our longest session: you print your own fabric with hand-carved blocks, then assemble it into a working lampshade to take home. Print in the afternoon, switch on the light the same evening.

First dates are being planned. Letters from the studio subscribers hear first.
