Marigold Shift Dress
This soothing silhouette is for free souls made in lightest tone of yellow crafted in pure cotton silk fabric handwoven in Islampur, West Bengal. It has a scoop neckline in front which gets deeper at the back. This bias cut shift dress has a gathered tier panel at the bottom and features hand embroidered coral motifs at the front in lighter tones of peach & teal green. The dress comes with a belt allowing you to play with the silhouette.
Made from an assorted range of textiles & handspun fabrics sourced from Banaras, Islampur, Murshidabad & quaint villages of India. The inspiration for the embellishments & embroideries has been derived from the artist Huguette Caland and her work over the years.

The Loom Art focuses on reviving old authentic craft techniques such as embroideries and weaving, and generating a platform of employment for locals & bringing handloom back in vogue. It’s a collective narrative of emotions of all the creative souls involved in this process.
